Jan Brueghel the Elder was a Flemish Baroque painter known for his detailed still lifes, landscapes, and allegorical works. Often collaborating with other artists, his exquisite renderings of nature and rich use of color made him a prominent figure in 16th-century Flemish art.
Jan Brueghel the Elder created Vase of Flowers in 1580. It is now part of the collection at Museo Nacional del Prado in Spain.
