Tintoretto was an Italian Renaissance painter known for his dramatic use of light and bold compositions. A master of both religious and mythological subjects, his work combined the grandiosity of Venetian painting with a sense of movement and emotion, making him one of the most influential artists of his time.
Jacopo Robusti created Cristo risorgente - The risen Christ in 1555. It is now part of the collection at Queensland Art Gallery in Australia.
