Berthe Morisot
Berthe Morisot was a French painter and a prominent figure in the impressionist movement. Known for her sensitive use of light and soft brushwork, she often depicted domestic scenes, portraits, and landscapes. Her work captured intimate moments of women’s lives, establishing her as a pioneering female artist in a male-dominated era.
Berthe Morisot created Child among the Hollyhocks in 1881. It is now part of the collection at Wallraf-Richartz-Museum in Germany.
