Mary Cassatt was an American painter and printmaker who was part of the group of Impressionists working in and around Paris. She focused almost exclusively on the intimate lives of contemporary women, particularly in their roles as caretakers of children.
Mary Cassatt created Young Mother Sewing in 1900. It is now part of the collection at The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York in United States.
