Cornelis Theodorus Maria "Kees" van Dongen was a Dutch-French painter and a prominent member of the Fauves. His early work was influenced by the Hague School and symbolism, eventually developing into a bold pointillist style.
Cornelis Theodorus Maria Kees van Dongen created The Blue Dress in 1911. It is now part of the collection at Van Gogh Museum in Netherlands.
