Segantini, Giovanni was an Italian painter known for his emotive landscapes and mastery of light. A leading figure in Symbolism and Divisionism, his works often focused on Alpine scenes and the connection between nature and human emotion.
Giovanni Segantini created Mittag in den Alpen in 1891. It is now part of the collection at Segantini Museum in Switzerland.
