Giovanni Bellini was a leading Italian Renaissance painter and the most celebrated member of the Bellini family of Venetian artists. Known for his mastery of colour and light, he played a key role in the development of Venetian painting and remains one of the most influential artists of the Renaissance.
Giovanni Bellini created Madonna and Child with St. John the Baptist in 1490. It is now part of the collection at Indianapolis Museum of Art in United States.
