Van Eyck, Jan, was a Flemish painter known for his pioneering use of oil paint and meticulous attention to detail. His work, particularly the Arnolfini Portrait, revolutionized portraiture and contributed to the development of Northern Renaissance art.
Jan van Eyck created Lucca Madonna in 1437. It is now part of the collection at Städel Museum in Germany.
